Your own country house for the day

Your own Hertfordshire country house for your wedding ceremony. We only accommodate one wedding per day, so the house and its 28 acres of landscaped garden are yours for the day.

You can have arrival drinks served on the lawn with canapés or from the oak panelled Terrace Room. Country house style restaurant for wedding breakfast seats 95 people looks out onto the back lawn. High ceiling and decorated in pastal shades. Waterford room is transformed for evening to accommodate DJ and/or band to party the night away for up to 200 guests. Evening buffet is served in adjoining Terrace Room – oak panelled room opening out onto Terrace. Oak panelled bar and lounge with comfortable seating and fireplace. 50 ensuite bedrooms available for guests to stay and then share breakfast with you the following morning. A dedicated wedding team

Dedicated wedding team will help to organise your ceremony, wedding breakfast, evening entertainment and accommodation, keeping you stress free to enjoy your planning. Civil ceremony for up to 75 in our spacious and light Waterford Room overlooking the beautiful lavender garden and fountain. Civil ceremony for up to 120 in our air conditioned meeting room looking out onto lawn and trees.
